Based in Edinburgh’s West End, the Ruffians Edinburgh barbershop opened in 2012.

With six stations clustered around one large solid oak cutting desk and a classic interior with contemporary accents, New York Times gave it ‘top marks across the board’.

Ruffians Covent Garden barbershop is the first London outpost and flagship, boasting two large communal cutting desks and nine stations.

At the front of the store is the Ruffians shop, selling our own product range and other curios. In the waiting area, a fireplace, flanked by rustic farmhouse wingback chairs, is lit during the winter, opposite a homely coffee-cum-whisky bar.

Our minimalist décor, natural light and leafy plants give our Marylebone barbershop a confident and relaxed atmosphere. Winners of the UK Barbershop of the Year, the excellent team bring a positive energy and expert haircuts.

Downstairs, is our Ruffians University, where the next generation of Ruffians barbers are being trained up, in our custom designed training centre to replicate our barber shop atmosphere and experience.

Ruffians Shoreditch barbershop is inspired by the existing architecture of the building (an old abattoir) and contemporary design in East London.

Our East End outpost is energetic and bustling, it’s in the heart of Shoreditch on the iconic Rivington Street, bookended by two great pubs – the Barley Mow and Bricklayers Arms. With a spacious interior and trendy design, the shop vibe blurs the line between barbers, coffee bar, and community hub. It’s a welcoming and vibrant location, headed up by Tommy and his award winning team. Pop in and say hello.

In August 2017 Ruffians launched its fifth barbershop and men’s grooming store in Liberty, London’s most iconic department store.

Located in the recently relaunched and expanded menswear department, the Ruffians team offers bespoke haircuts, cut throat razor shaves, beard trims and facials seven days a week. Designed with both a nod to Ruffians’ and Liberty’s heritage, the space features exposed brickwork, wood panelling and Scottish oak throughout, as well as the iconic Takara Belmont barber chairs in Ruffians’ signature blue.
